This is a report from Tony

Moose.....What a weekend to go out of town.

Sat we got out of work early, so we decided to do a couple of dives Sat. and stay the night for Sun.

Left the Inlet at 11:30 headed to your Barge. Tom did the first dive, and after 33 minutes surfaced with a smile.
He said large Jewfish and snapper all over the barge.  He said he took a shot at a grouper, but missed.

I did the same dive as Tom.  I spotted a Large grouper on the deck.  He went into the barge, but gave me a good shot.  That Darn thing tangled, and bent the heck out of my spear shaft.  I saw where he went, but I had to untangle my gun!  Once back in action I found him dead on the bottom. I went around the barge and saw the monstrous Jewfish.  A good 300+.  I got a small flounder, and headed up excited to see the look on Thomas face.

Sun. Went to the hump.  Had bad vis due to the thermo at 58'.  I had 60' vis till you broke 60' then you had 5' at the most.  On the Bottom I saw many Lobster.  Lots of 2 to 3lbs.  A couple of 5, and two BIG boys!!

On the way to the second dive we found active birds.  A live grunt produced a 10lb dolphin for Thomas on light spinning tackle. We also found a broken weed line 13 miles offshore.  We trolled A rod and after 10 minutes went to reel it in, and slam, a dolphin hit a was running.  Thomas had a couple of nervous swings with the gaff, but we landed another 10lb!

Second dive was on the Rio Yuna. Nice dive with 60' vis!!!  Lots of bait, and small snapper.  Big AJ's on the bow, but not worth shooting.  Saw one nice red snapper.  That ship was a great dive.  The first big wreck dive for the both of us.

We had planned on diving the Argiol on PI-1.  Lots of bottom fishing on all three sites.  We got good #'s for the Barge, culverts, and reef balls.

Sir Thomas wanted to dive your barge, (in hopes of big grouper). He came up empty, but happy to see your large Jewfish, and a curious turtle.

I decided to Dive the culverts. My light went out within the first 5 minutes.  Lots of reef fish, and mangos.  I managed to get a nice stringer of 6 flounder.
